Changing Lives Since 1981
Because a boxing club isn't just a boxing club...it's a place where people make friends, become part of a team and transfom their lives.
The Queensberry Police Amateur Boxing Club has been running since 1981 and has produced a wide range of national and area champions along with several England Internationals.
The club operates as a charity and is located on the upstairs level inside The Queensberry Hub building.

Queensberry Boxing club was like a second home to me. I made friends for life at this club and now my children go here as well. You couldn't find a better place to start your boxing journey."

What You Need To Know About Starting To Box
Here's everything you need to know if you want to try your hand at boxing.
Picking The Right Class
Walking into a boxing club can be intimidating. But not at Queensberry.
Firstly we are located in The Queensberry Hub, so we are part boxing club and part community venue with a fully stocked bar (great for parents).
We aim to provide everyone with a welcome as if they are walking into a second home.
The boxing club is located upstairs as you walk through the main doors, it is just to the right. But to ensure you find the right class for your needs, we created a handy guide, to help.
Which class is perfect For You?
You Want To Box
If you have the desire to get inside the ring and box competitively then our club can help. Our beginner classes on Monday and Friday evenings are designed to teach you the basics of boxing and to find out if it is right for you.
You Want To Get Fit And Learn
Competitve boxing isn't right for everyone, but the skills of boxing and the fitness benefits can be. Our mixed fitness classes or Ladies only classes will be right for you. They are on several nights a week.

Queensberry boxing club combines fitness with fun .
I started ladies boxing sessions 4 years ago with coach Sarah and was soon hooked. I then moved onto Adults bags and pads, taught by senior coach Mark.
Classes involve lots of cardio, toning, endurance - but each week is different and ‘enjoyable !‘
Gia, my daughter , also attends the club for carded and invited boxers where more technical aspects of boxing are taught , preparing members for boxing shows / bouts . Again importance is placed upon fitness and stamina, taught by dedicated coaches who want the best for the youngsters .
Queensberry to us, more than anything, is our boxing family . As well as being a fantastic fitness club, close friendships are formed and you feel valued ."
